If an intelligent switch (commonly known as a watchdog) is installed outside the user at the T-type wiring or the user's end (responsibility demarcation point), after judgement to confirm the occurrence of faults within the user's boundary (overcurrent, short-circuit, single-phase grounding and other faults), the faults will be isolated automatically, which will ensure the normal use of electricity by the users of non-fault zones. ZW32-12F outdoor high-voltage boundary vacuum circuit breaker is a kind of user demarcation switch independently developed by our company. It mainly consists of three parts: ZW32-12 outdoor pole-mounted vacuum circuit breaker body, FDR fault detection controller, and external voltage transformer, which are electrically connected through aviation socket and outdoor sealed control cable. With fault detection function, protection control function and communication function, it can reliably judge and detect the zero sequence current of milliamperes level inside and outside the boundary and the short-circuit fault current between phases, so as to realize the automatic removal of single-phase grounding fault and short-circuit fault between phases.

1.Installed in the overhead distribution line at the boundary of responsibility, that is, the front end of the user into the line, will automatically remove the user single-phase ground fault (customer needs to configure) and phase-to-phase short-circuit faults, to avoid the user boundary faults spread to the transmission line, to ensure that non-faulty users of the safety of the power supply, and improve the reliability of the power supply.
2.When a short-circuit fault occurs, the circuit breaker protection trips and locks to isolate the faulty section and ensure normal power supply to other lines.
3.When a single-phase earthing fault occurs, the circuit breaker is automatically tripped and blocked, and the substation and other lines of the feeder do not feel the fault occurrence.
4.After the fault of user branch line causes the action of boundary switch, only the households on the lower side of the fault point of the switch are without power, and the fault information can be reported actively, so that the electric power company can quickly make clear the accident point, carry out on-site treatment in time, and restore power supply to the fault line as early as possible.
5.Monitor the user load boundary circuit breaker can transmit the detection data to the power management center to achieve real-time monitoring of remote loads. Intelligent management of network system can be achieved with recloser function.
